I was so excited to see Laura and Patrick on their wedding day at the Succop Conservancy! They are such a sweet couple, and Laura is an absolute doll baby! She’s seriously one of the most cheerful people I’ve ever met, and it’s easy to see why Patrick adores her. They got creative with their wedding day–Laura and her dad grew their own wheat grass for the centerpieces and had unique touches throughout their day–scroll through to see all the lovely details and beautiful vibrant color schemes!
Laura and her girls got ready early in the day so we could do bridal party shots before the ceremony. This really saved time after the ceremony, and also allowed the girls to relax and joke around because we weren’t rushed. Laura gave all of her girls adorable purses as a gift, and they all looked radiant together!
I love doing these types of photos–what I like to call “First Look Without Looking”! We meet at a pre-designated area where you can’t see your fiance, but, you can hold hands and talk or say a prayer together! It’s a great moment to share before the quick-pace of the wedding day comes around!
The Succop Conservancy has gorgeous grounds that provide the perfect backdrop for romantic photos! And I had two great models 😉
Laura and Patrick were excellent with the cake part–they had one cake they cut themselves and then a cake bar…this girl has a sweet tooth like me! Just look at the variety of cakes they had to choose from! Awesome…
They planned a really fun reception–they even had corn hole in the side yard–a PA fave!
And for the bonfire, a girl after my own heart, she had a S’MORE BAR! YUM!We also snuck out for a few minutes to do some sunset photos, a personal fave, with glowing light and a beautiful couple, it was easy!
We also did some more family portraits, it was easy to do on the rolling lawn and everyone was in one spot.
And Laura and Patrick win the prize for Coolest Guest Book! Instead of a “book”, they had bottles of wine you sign with a silver Sharpee! For Laura and Patrick’s Bridal Box, I painted the location of their new home! I had just been there myself and was inspired by the fog lifting off the mountains. Laura and Patrick, I wish you the best on your new life together, it was an honor to be with you on your wedding day!
