I think of the word “stunning” when I think of Natasha and Lane! From the time I shot their engagement photos to now, they just make a photographer’s job so easy! They are beautiful inside and out, and love to have a good time and are relaxed in front of the camera. Plus, they constantly offer you a drink, coffee, chocolate milk, or beer so…you seriously can’t beat that! Everyone had a blast on their wedding day–it was great to be surrounded by people that truly enjoyed being around each other! The day started off at their home, where Lane was getting dressed with his brothers/groomsmen and hanging out in the ManCave. They got a little crazy, and I laughed so hard I literally couldn’t shoot! It’s great to see brothers that have such a close bond!
After that, I headed to the home Natasha grew up in, and I went from a whole lotta crazy to a whole lotta pretty….seriously, just pretty everywhere! Pretty girls, pretty dresses, pretty shoes, makeup, everything!
Couldn’t get enough shots of Natasha’s Vera Wang gown, the light went through the ruffles perfectly, just gorgeous!
I loved these shots of the girls putting the finishing touches on Natasha riiiight before she walked down the isle at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The moments before can be so intimate and full of emotion! And she has great legs, obvi!
Lane held it together very well as he saw Natasha walking to meet him!
After doing the family and bridal party photos at the Cathedral, we headed to Pearson Park in New Castle (just a short drive away!) to do the bridal portrait in the woods. It had started to rain a little, so we brought out the umbrella too! Very romantic!
So…I’m a sucker for IVY and any kind of crawling plant that grows all over buildings, and this caught my eye on the way back to the Cathedral. They were so kind as to go along with my last minute plan before she bustled her gown for the reception!
Lane is so romantic–before the wedding, he wrote a song for Natasha, and sang it to her at the reception. Natasha’s brother Bobby played his guitar while Lane sang. Everyone was in tears, of course!
Thank you so much for having me on your wedding day! It was truly a blast! All the best to you two love birds ❤
For Natasha and Lane’s wedding box, I decided to paint the bows on Natasha’s shoes. They’re coordinating colors of the ballet pink and gray, arriving on their doorstep filled with wedding dvd of proofs and photos from their day as well.
