Justin and Maria were one of those couples that would glow when you’d ask about the other. They had known each other since they were kids, and even though they had taken different paths as teenagers, they had found their way back to each other in a beautiful romantic story. Love is found in the simplest of places.
We headed to St Patrick’s for the ceremony, all giddy with excitement! The bridesmaids had even prepared a special board to have their photo taken with and sent!
These are some of my favorite wedding photos! I normally do not set foot on the altar in the church out of respect for the church as well as standing in front of family members (they can’t see their kids, it’s rude!) but the priest invited me to come behind the altar and take photos of Justin and Maria so that I could see their faces! I was so excited! Usually I can only get photos of the couple with their backs or sides to my camera, but now I could see them facing each other! He also then invited both their parents to the altar during the vow ceremony, so that everyone could be close and involved. He told me he was Sicilian, and of course that explained a lot 🙂
After the ceremony, we headed to the Quicksilver Golf Club for the reception. The grounds provided a beautiful back drop for Justin and Maria’s bridal portrait!
