When I first met Heather during her engagement shoot, she was so sweet and friendly, and she was a DIY goddess! She made her own tent and signs for her and Matt’s shoot, and it turned out beautifully! Their wedding at White Barn was the same–all about her and Matt and everything they enjoyed together–the outdoors, wine, and each other. Each of the details was handmade by her, and it coordinated perfectly with burlap, gold glitter, and touches of peach and coral everywhere. Gorgeously dressed in her crinoline gown and cathedral length veil, their bridal portraits are some of my personal favorites! They are so romantic and serene, and of course, good models 😉 I also loved how they snuck out of their reception at sunset for some golden-hour, glowy photos by the pond at White Barn.
About halfway through their reception, Heather and Matt snuck out for just 10 short minutes with me! I love when my couples do this, it gives them a break and it’s a more relaxed, quick session! The golden glow that a sunset provides is ethereal and soft, giving it a dreamy look. Paired with Heather’s flowing crinoline gown, these are some of my favorite images from their day!
Many thanks to Craig Lawrence of Red Hot Chameleon Entertainment, who kept the dance floor packed all night, as well as brought awesome dance lighting. It was fun to play with lighting when a DJ provides colorful light to work with, there is no photoshop used in the following images, all in-camera 🙂
What a fun night! All the best you two! ❤
